Bad Business Advice!
Lower your Prices!
Instead of taking a class on how to lower your prices and how to do your pricing so people will buy, I’d like you to think about a few other things:
Look, you are not Walmart so being the low price leader should not be your strategy.
1. Review the law of Supply and Demand. This will help you understand why lowering your price is not the answer to new customers.
2. See where you can add value
3. Make sure you are selling what your customers want to buy.
4. Check your packaging, make sure it looks good.
5. Get a budget to market, I bet a lot of folks don’t know what you have available.
Someone talked to me about how my prices were too high for the television advertising on my show. When I asked how much they had budgeted for television ads, they said they had no money for tv ads. So I asked, then what difference does it make what I charge if you are NEVER going to buy? Why was I having a conversation about pricing with someone who is not my client.

A Million a Minute

Oprah’s last day on stations other than her OWN is May 25th ( same day as my Open house for my new office). She is charging $1 million dollars for a minute of commercial time.
The audience will be huge, live plus whoever Records it for later. People will be recording and saving it for years to come. That one minute can be a great investment.
I cant wait to see who the last advertiser will be.
The real point is how can we invest in our business to make people WANT to collaborate with us? One way? Included people in what you do. When I have the chance to do gift bags, which is often, I contact those close to me to add their products to the bags.
Can Your Webcomic Make Money?

I am excited to see my dog, Angel in a webcomic. I did not post this just to brag about my dog. I wanted you to look at how things have changed. Before, if you wanted your own comic strip to be syndicated you had to get accepted by the newspaper and they rarely added new comics. There was this entire platform you had to have to do this.
Now with Technology, Fave was able to bring his idea to the market in just a few short months. The business model is different but there is one in place so that this venture is money making.
All of this is to say, you can do what you want to do, you may have to try a new plan.
