There are so many great tools that are provided as an avenue to be able to assist people further in their pursuit of seeing their project and dreams come true. One such tool that is widely used, but also abused is that of Crowdfunding. Just like with all things it starts out great and then people misuse what they have access to. It is time for people to get an understanding on what crowdfunding is and what it is used for. You can grab my book on Crowdfunding entitled, “Get Crowdfunded Now,” for more details.
So many people are so quick to get funding and do not know how to get Crowdfunded Now the right way. There are so many things that I see that I had to address. It is time for people to act out of a state of integrity as it coincides with their brand and their brand message. What are you saying to your tribe? “Oh, I am going to say it is for a certain project and then use the funds towards something completely opposite of what you set the campaign up for. This happens. Also, trying to crowdfund for campaigns that are not going to make an impact such as (insert an example here.)
You have heard the quote used many times, one bad apple spoils the bunch. It is time to get serious about what your mission is. Don’t try to deceive your tribe of people by trying to crowdfund when you don’t even have the knowledge of what it means to crowdfund and what all is entailed. Ever wonder why so many campaigns are not even done successfully is because they do not truly display what the intention is. Before you start crowdfunding connect with me so that I can ensure that you have the basis on which to start and have a successful campaign.
There are people who have an idea of something that has the potential to really change things and benefit other people. Act with honesty and integrity so that a good resource won’t be ruined. Is what you are trying to accomplish going to impact other people or are you doing to manipulate for selfish gain. There is always the right way to go about doing something and trying to find a way to alter the original intent of crowdfunding is misleading.

The Benefits of Crowdfunding
By SunintheEast
Crowdfunding is the new alternative to a bank loan to start a business. Due to the decline of the economy, banks are less willing to lend capital to entrepreneurs who are looking to start up a new company. Once you have been denied a bank loan you have two choices, walk away or look into an alternative. Crowdfunding matches a single entrepreneur with a group of people willing to help fund their business. The benefits also extend to those who are willing to lend the money as well as the person borrowing the funds.
Easier to Get Funding
Bank loans are time consuming and require a set idea and business plan before you are able to qualify for the loan. Currently the number of start up businesses who are denied bank loans is higher than the number that actually gets their loan. With crowdfunding, you can simply pitch your idea to a group of potential investors and see how many are willing to lend you the money you need to start your business.
Less Risk
Once you have been denied a bank loan, you may look into a payday loan. These loans are slightly risky, especially to new businesses as you are unsure of what your profits will be in the beginning. Crowdfunding is similar to online payday loans without the high interest rate. The risk is also less for those investing in your startup as the investment may be split across a number of people. Crowdfunding will also give you an idea of how well your business will do based on the opinions of those you ask to help fund you.
Market Validation
Gaining confidence in your product or concept may be difficult to do upon starting your business. New companies usually are slow to get off the ground which may discourage those interested in starting their own company. Crowdfunding allows entrepreneurs to gauge the reaction of the public to their concept or product. People are unlikely to invest in a product or idea that they would not purchase or do not believe will be successful.
Free
When looking into crowdfunding, look for an all or nothing platform. This type of platform will allow you to set a goal and share your idea with the potential investors. If you do not raise all of the necessary funds you will receive nothing and all contributed funds will be returned to those who invested. If you reach your goal, you will receive the funds and the platform will take a small percentage for their fee. While you are attempting to reach your goal you are also getting free advertising of your product or service.

What the government can do and should do to help Women Based businesses
by Prodsllc
When it comes to the business world, a disproportionate number of business owners to this day are men. It is an interesting phenomenon, too, since women have proven to be more than capable as employees, and when women get an opportunity to lead for themselves, they prove capable and talented when it comes to directing the future of the business itself.
So what gives, and why are so few women owning and presiding over businesses in the first place? And maybe more importantly, what can be done to help ensure that they get the most out of business ownership and the assistance that comes with it.
Join us for part one of a three part series on woman-based and woman-owned businesses, where today we discuss what the government can do to help women and promote them as business owners.
Tax Credits and Breaks
First and foremost, there already exist certain tax credits for qualifying businesses that are owned by a woman, or a member of a minority. The government, then, could obviously do more when it comes to ensuring that these credits are given to, and felt by, everyone involved when it comes to improving the rate of woman-based businesses in this country. The tax credit can help entice women to start businesses, qualify for loans, and more along the way.
Focus in Colleges and State Schools
In state schools and public colleges around the country, perhaps there could be more of a focus taken on entrepreneurship and women’s studies, combining the two in some way, or in some other way encouraging the teaching of entrepreneurship for women in school. By starting early, in school, it can encourage women to join up and start their own businesses, while learning how to take risks and get the most back out of their investments regarding business and more. This, in turn, can help both women and men and increase competitiveness and productivity in the business market in general.
Get out of the way!
Finally, the government could do a great deal to help women in business by working to stay out of their way and easing their concerns regarding regulations and more. In doing so, they can avoid and destroy some of the red tape associated with starting a business, and can work to ensure that women – and everyone else – are likely and able to get the most out of their business experience with as few start-up problems as possible.
More and more women can own businesses in this country, and over time that trend will continue to increase as more women empower themselves and take risks to be the heads of small businesses and large companies. But until then, there are specific courses of action that can be taken when it comes to women getting the most out of their business experience and leading the pack in any industry across the globe. Watch out, for it is soon to become a woman’s world!
