Should You Do OutBound Calls?

Are outbound calls the best marketing for you?

Recently I have gotten on a list from a church that calls my house each week with a very upbeat recording from the Pastor about the great things they have going on at church this week and how he is excited to see me there.

Great right?

Here’s the rub

I have never attended his church. The only contact we have ever had was years ago when he called about some marketing he wanted to do. We did not have an audience match, so no deal was ever struck. Now I am stuck with these unwanted calls each week.

Because I am not a member and have no interest in his church, these calls come off as very insincere. I never listen to them and hang up as soon as I hear his voice. I have no way of getting off this calls list. Out bound calls for years have been a part of a great majority of business marketing models, does it still work now?

My question is, are you on any of these lists? How do you feel about it?

Would you like to get calls and voice mails from Wright Place TV instead of an email newsletter??
