Why You Can Retire the Wrap Dress

Yes, this is me!

Yes, this is me!

After flashing everyone in the bank, I decided to retire my wrap dress.  When I told my friend Wayne what happened, all he said was ‘Awesome”. I am not sure if he was referring to flashing the bank or retiring the dress. I did not ask for clarification.

The good thing is, I am pretty sure I will never have to show my ID in that bank branch again. The bad thing is …I am pretty sure I will never have to show my ID in that bank branch again.

The point is this: When do you let something go in your business?

Clearly the dress should have been retired before it decided to share my brand of underwear with the general public. When is it time to quit on something? Never you say? Think about it. A task that takes 30 minutes to do and somehow you have not been able to do it in a week, needs to be outsourced. Let it go. Contact @virtuallyassist on Twitter to find out what and how to outsource.

Ask for help on Twitter, Facebook or Linked in. People in your social network want to help. That’s one of the best things about social media.

Just dump it. Not all ideas are stellar. When you realize one of yours is not, stop looking at sunk cost (what you already spent in time and dollars) and just dump it.  We are not brilliant all the time. The time you spend beating yourself up for not finishing is wasted time.
