I know you never heard of it before, this month is Do it Yourself Marketing month. I am not sure if they mean you have to draw the flyers yourself or what. I am taking the meaning to be that you need to DO it. Do something. Try something new. Try something new everyday and see what gets you a response.

Hate marketing? Well this is the month to start loving it . Start telling your story to more people than you ever have before.

If you really do not want to podcast , then get on a podcast and tell your story. You do not have to start a weekly podcast on your own. You can leverage someone else’s audience.

 The same thing with Blogging. You do not HAVE to blog, you can comment on the top blogs in your area of business. You will begin new relationships with the bloggers and you will have a way to get links to your business. Marketing can be creating new relationships. Get to know some new people. Stop networking in the same old areas. Take some seminars and network or market your business there. My friend Pauli Sabol explained to me that everyday you can get at least 10 people to ask you what you do by asking them FIRST.

That’s 10 people who didnt know about you before. If you do that all month, then thats 300 people you will have gotten exposure to. For FREE, I might add.
