The Black Canary barbie is ment for adult colectors. I wouldn’t buy one for a kid, but if you want to talk about innapropriat for kids just look at the Bratz dolls. And they are ment for kids. Black Canary is a DC superhero and that is what she is based off of.

my x wife who happens to be one of the best professinal DOMINATRIX’s from australia no living in wakiki hawaii has been making and selling MISSTRESS BARBIE and BONDAGE BARBIES for years people love them thye come with whips chains little hand cuffs etc. so this black canary BARBIE is nothing you silly parents who think thier kids are so innocent look at the madonna used to dress and now hanah montana if you try to shelter your kids to much like music art movies or the stupidest HOME SCHOOLING be prepared for a life time of drugs booze and therapy n o for you for your shy cant get along in sicity kids CHILL OUT ITS JUST A DOLL AND NO MY WIFE NEVER SHOWED OR SOLD HER DOLLS TO MINORS nor did she ever domiate and use any males under 18 unless they lied about thier age and where going off to war and had $500 plus in cash have fun peace and love BARBIE

You are aware that this Barbie *is* for OLDER collectors. It’s part of the Black line or whatever it’s called. This isn’t intended for children. However, if you want to see the character the doll is based on, find the Justice League Unlimited DVDs. She is one of the superheroes on the show and is an amazing female superhero, with superior hand-to-hand skills and a great alternative to Wonder Woman. It is not just a kid’s action show. It’s very cerebral, and adults would appreciate it more than their kids. If action is what you (or your child) like, she is someone your can enjoy watching (and not in the gratuitous way).

there is nothing wrong with this barbie was there sucha ruckus when they made her into wonder woman or the harley barbies? there is nothing wrong with this i would love to see them come out with a gothic barbie in the future. or better yet just for the religious sect how about Adam and Eve barbie come on we all were born with nothing on right? barbie has always had fishnet stockings and even undewear

That is soooo wrong! As a father of two very little girls (1.5 and 3.5) I am so scared to see the new stuff coming out. My big girl just got into the “I love barbie” phase and owns all the barbie movies already, but I draw the line here. What were they thinking? What’s next Playboy pin-up Barbie? Stripper Vixen Barbie? This leaves me to believe that the execs at Mattel probably don’t have kids. Come on! Leather and fishnets on a kids toy? For an adult collector this is cool, but I really don’t want to see this on a Walmart shelf next to Strawberry Shortcake.

I’d buy Black Canary Barbie for you but not for my granddaughter. Something is wrong when my six year old granddaughter goes to school and her classmate says, “I want to have sex with you.” She didn’t know what he was talking about. She’s back being homeschooled, by her request.
